BBQ is obviously optional, if anyone wants to leave after the drive, it is okay.

Guys please make sure you come with a full tank as the closest petrol station to the finish point (Qudra Lakes) is not too close..

Hi guys,

Can anyone explain a bit if there is any difference between truck road and regular sand dunes that we drive as usual?
I will have some guests with me and I am trying to make sure they will enjoy the ride.

Thanks in advance,

Kivanc

@kkilicer the drive will be on Sand dunes from start to End. It's just the meeting point is on the Al Fayah truck Rd. It is Just like other meeting points (for example Badayyer Shops meeting point is on Oman Hatta Rd.)

Guys, what do you mean by "technical areas"? Also, I understand Sabkhas is hard sand, am I correct?

Sabkha is a large flat area (hard sand).
Technical area consists of small technical dunes (usually similar size) one after the other. You need to have a quick reaction in order to make it across technical areas without getting stuck. These areas will appear as we get closer to Qudra.
