Thank you John for leading the Fewbie/Inter convoy, it was a really great drive, a lot of fun and a great group.

Summer does not stop off-road fans as more than 35 cars gathered again for our Friday drive, with a significant number of new comers.
It is always good to see new faces joining DO. :)

Ahmad prepared the drive very precisely as always and split the newbies into two convoys.

Together with Asim, we joined Joe to sweep the drive with the "first timers". It was a good drive indeed, despite a late start due to issues programming the walky talkies of some of the new members. It is a good reminder for all who want to join the drives to check the forum and make sure that radios are setup with the right frequencies. Hopefully, Asim had few spare talkies, so everybody could join the drive.

All driver did well for a first time and Joe led the group to few technical areas to give them a glimpse of side sloping. It was good fun. By the end of the day, we reached the exit point safely with only a couple of recoveries. Well done guys. :ymapplause:

See you all again soon in the sand.
