Re: Offroad Walkie Talkie FAQ
Crony is the best, using 2 of them for about 4 years.
Just recently replaced old batteries with Li-Ion (2200 mA) which hold 10 times more than regular. (50 aed each).

Dear Abdulla, welcome to DO, looking forward to meet you on the sand.
Please make sure to program all above listed frequencies into your radio as the marshals can decide to use any frequency on the drives, hence it is important to have stored them all.
Cheers,

Are you sure you set both sending and receiving frequencies? Also which brand of radio do you have? If its a Crony check out this post by SamA.

I was there in January 2017 and bought the Motorola MT -777. Got it for 175 had to pay 10 DH extra for the car charger. He did the programming with is computer and 5 minutes later I had the radio.
If you have problems with programming go to this shop he will do it.
:yesss: ;)
