National Day Liwa Crescent Drive & Camp on 3rd & 4th of December '2020
Please note that you will not be allowed to join the drive if you come to the meeting point without a functioning pre-programmed radio and a flag with flag pole attached to your car. This is for your safety and for the safety of others on the drive. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Hi All,
Undertook the PCR test tonight to obtain results by tomorrow (Tuesday 1st Dec).
Does the 4 day clock for Abu Dhabi start ticking once you cross the boarder? Or from when results are received?
Or is it you have 48hrs to enter after receiving your initial test results back?
Seeing if anyone has done this recently and knows the rules / ropes.
Looking forward to the trip.
Best

Simon, see earlier post. You need to cross within 48 hours of getting results, then retest on day 4 after crossing.
I did mine earlier today - expect results around midnight if previous form is anything to go by - so I need to cross by midnight Wednesday.

The day of entering Abu Dhabi is counted as day 1
Example:
If entering Abu Dhabi on Sunday (day 1) and staying for 4 or more days, a PCR test is mandatory on Wednesday (day 4). If staying for 8 or more consecutive days, a PCR test is mandatory on Wednesday as well as on the following Sunday (day 8 ).

Khaleej Times - 04 Nov 2020
Starting Sunday, November 8, all UAE citizens and expats, including returning Abu Dhabi residents, must enter the emirate within 48 hours of receiving a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or diffractive phase interferometry (DPI) laser test result.
A PCR test in the country costs between Dh150 to Dh250, while the DPI one costs Dh50. (you will get the DPI test result immediately)
