Since our beginnings, Dubai Offroaders has been built on a passion for adventure, a love for the outdoors, and a shared desire to explore the magnificent deserts, rugged mountains, and remote off-road destinations across the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. But what truly defines us is not how far we drive, how high we climb, or how challenging a route we conquer. It is the values we stand for and the way we treat one another along the journey.

As one of the region’s pioneering organised off-road driving communities, leading expeditions across the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, we have always believed that responsible off-roading is about much more than driving. It is about learning, helping, respecting, and growing together.

As we continue to grow, we want every member, new or experienced, to understand and uphold the core values that define Dubai Offroaders:

No drive, destination, photograph, or adventure is worth compromising safety. We encourage responsible driving, respect for personal limits, adherence to marshal instructions, and a willingness to learn. There is no shame in asking for help, taking a break, or choosing not to attempt a manoeuvre beyond your ability. Good off-roading is not about taking unnecessary risks; it is about making sound decisions.

We are a community of people from different backgrounds, nationalities, experiences, and walks of life, united by a common passion. Every member deserves courtesy, patience, and respect. We must respect fellow drivers, marshals, recovery teams, other desert and trail users, and the local communities across the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. Disagreements may happen, but they must always be handled with maturity and dignity.

This is more than a slogan. It is a commitment that lies at the heart of Dubai Offroaders. We look after one another on the trail. We assist those who are struggling, support those who are learning, and stand by fellow members when things do not go according to plan. No one should feel abandoned, embarrassed, or left to manage a difficult situation alone. We may drive as individuals, but we travel as a team.

The deserts, mountains, and pristine off-road trails are a privilege to explore, not a place to exploit. We must protect their fragile ecosystems, respect wildlife, avoid unnecessary noise and disturbance, and leave every campsite, dune line, and wadi route as clean as, or cleaner than, we found it. We must be mindful of our speed, our lights, our noise, and our impact on the natural environment. Our responsibility does not end when the drive ends. It extends to preserving these landscapes across the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia for future generations.

Dubai Offroaders is a place to develop skills, build confidence, and gain experience. Experienced drivers should guide newcomers with patience and encouragement, never arrogance or ridicule. We recognise that every expert was once a beginner, and every drive offers an opportunity to learn something new. Our collective strength comes from sharing knowledge and helping others become safer, more capable, and more responsible off-roaders.

Our marshals volunteer their time, experience, and effort to make our drives safer and more organised. Their role is to guide, coordinate, and assist the convoy. We expect members to cooperate with marshal instructions, follow established procedures, and respect the responsibilities entrusted to the team. A well-organised drive depends on discipline, teamwork, and trust. Every member has a part to play in making that possible.

Off-roading is not a competition to prove who has the most powerful vehicle, the greatest experience, or the most impressive driving skills. We value humility over ego, responsible decisions over reckless displays, and teamwork over individual glory. We celebrate achievements, acknowledge mistakes, learn from experience, and treat every member fairly. The strongest off-roader is not necessarily the one who can do the most, but the one who knows when to proceed, when to pause, and when to help someone else.
